Hello vB, I need help on changing the white border on the forums, I want to make it smaller.

See how the white around the forums covers up a lot of the background, I want to make it not so wide, and the background can be shown more, how exactly do I do this?

Goto Style Vars > body_padding and reduce the left and right values, that should help.

Or
You could go to the body background stylevar and make it transparent. That would really let your back ground image shine through.

I changed the left and right values and nothing happened

I also tried your Idea and its still there? Im confused
