.htaccess is blank

Hi,

My .htaccess file is blank and now site is not loading, what should be in it?

Just re-upload the one from your license mate. Download the vB files from the customer area in vb.com and look at the .HTACCESS and re-upload to your FTP favorite client connected to your server files.

Also if you have vBseo installed you will need to go their page to get the rewrite codes on add to your HTACCESS file

I have done that but can not see a .htaccess file there.

Thanks got it. The problem i am having is when i go to my site i get this:

503 Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily busy, try again later!

I was told by my host it is a .htaccess issue which is why i checked it and found it is blank. Now its not blank but i still get this error. Any idea what causes it?
