i dont want to post my site for advertising so i will use this site for reference. (may be confusing) here goes the part at the top of the page right below the vbulletin.org The Official vBulletin Modifications Site. is a strip that goes across the forum. not the navbar. the the lite blue faded strip with the search bar in it. ok on my site (fluid) it extends on out a past the forum. so i am trying to change the color of the ends (the hangover part) to match my backgroud. but i dont know what they are called. If you cant understand plz pm me or reply and i will try to link you my site. also the extension pieces of my nav bar are the same way if you know the name? sorry for confusion

you would have to edit a few templates to achieve your goal..

Is it VB4 or VB3

Thank you for your input webdosser i have already ask the question there with no response. i believe this area is called the same on any style. when you log in and it says "thank you for logging in" and just shows the background the lines go all the way across there aswell.

Questions/Problems regarding modifications/styles need to be asked in the modification/style thread. That is where the support for modification/style is - not out here in the main forums. Please note that if a modification/style is unsupported (or even if it says it is supported), you may be on your own if you chose to install it.

i understand this but i purchased the style. There is not (that i could find) a thread regarding it. All i need is the name of the area in which i want to change colors. i.e background_doc, navbar_font and so on. which the names of these areas dont change in any style. There for i am only requesting the name in vb4 discussion. thank you for your input

Yeah, when dealing with a custom style, it's better to ask there. There might be changes in the style we don't know about (most likely) and you never know where the designer has moved large chunks of template code. Note that the designer might be the only one running the site, so it might take a bit, even so.
