Hi,

I moved from SMF recently, over there they had a "show new replies to your posts" which is an AWESOME feature by far which makes SMF better then vBull in my opinion.

Here all we have is the "whats new?" button and im not even sure how that works.

The new replies to your posts, would simply let you know (same style as "whats new") when someone replied in a thread that you posted in, that way you can easily continue posting in threads that you want to and not have to hunt them down.

Any ideas if this can easily be done, if there is an option or a mod already?

Thanks

Not something I've ever looked for, but I just saw this mod a little farther down: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=267329

I don't know how SMF keeps track of things but in vb they're called 'subscriptions' and the admin can set default sub behavior, but then the user can modify it as well.

Also I think by default vb shows icons that indicate you've posted in a thread, so if someone selects "New posts" their own should be obvious.

This is also something I have asked about, and have yet to find.

We did add a mod that you can choose from "your posts" and "your threads" but the first option only showed you the posts (not any new posts made) and the second was only for threads you have made so no good either.

The only work around I have found so far is to subscribe to all threads you post in, then when you click the "settings" tab, the list of threads with new posts is there.

We recently moved from phpbb and have really missed the "your posts" button :(

If anyone can find a mod that solves this please let me know
