Hi
Running vB 4.1.5 and have the new forum closed during design and construction.
However, I want to let "test pilots" come in and view the closed forum - and no, I do not want them to get access to the admin-panel (admincp).
The best thing would be to create a new user group "test pilots" and set the correct permissions to that, and then add the selected users to the group. But it don't seems to work on closed forums.
According to vB.com support it should work with Super Moderator, but I did not get that to work. To temp. assign SM without access to admincp to a testuser would be ok. But best would be to have a working Usgr.
Anyone? Suggestions? Any mods?
P.s. I checked config.php but didn't find anything useful there...
