View Full Version : cloudflare help! Getting IP's from modCP

Okay well basically if you've never heard of cloudflare it is ddos protection [reverse proxy] kind of thing.

Your hosted on there DNS servers and there server takes attacks not yours.

Well When you search IP's in the modcp it gives you cloudflares IP

173.245.49.196 They are public no need to hide it.

I Fixed it for admincp in this tutorial: http://www.cloudflare.com/wiki/VBulletin_3.8.4

But cannot find what to do for ModCP

What you do is change: REMOTE_ADDR to HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP

And it works. Can anyone tell where to find this in admincp? And for posts please.
