Looks good, just a few minor things:

The login area is too big (vertically), hopefully it's a lot smaller when a user is logged in.
You have too many forums/sub forums. You're currently starting out and you want to make your site look active. Having too many sub forums is contradictory.

The color is great, not too many colors. Digging the red, keep it up!
