Is there a Mod (or any other way) to have the Signature permissions on a per User basis, not just group based ?

Which means that I for example can allow some to have a larger (size) signature than others, without having to create an additional usergroup for them. Or if someone screws up, I can deny him to use a Signature at all without having to move him into another usergroup.

But the size would be the more important factor. The Board is a vB3.8.4. If you know something that already exists and can do such things, please let me know.

Thank you in advance.

You specifically say that you don't want to have to create new groups, but I just thought I'd point out that adding secondary user groups will increase sizes/permissions but won't decrease them, so if you created a usergroup with no permissions (or copy your current Registered User group) and just increased the signature limit, then added that to a user as a secondary group, you could achieve what you want without changing the primary user group (except denying the signature, for that I guess you'd have to set the Registered User group to deny signatures, then add everyone to a secondary group).

BTW, the rule seems to be (when combining the primary and secondary groups) that the highest number is used except in cases where '0' has a special meaning, then 0 overrides other values.

If you knew all this already, then feel free to ignore me.

Yo can do the secondary usergroups as kh99 suggested and then use this mod to disable signatures completely for specific users if it comes to it: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=254712 without having to deny signatures completely for all registered users.
