Hey kh99;
I've removed the prompt now.
I've done a fresh install, then uploaded a recent backup, to get the same problem as before, i've tried switching skins, etc.. but to no avail. I'm confused as to why, have you got any idea?
I'll attach some screenshots..
We can access usercp/online/admin/mod normally, just nothing there, just bare white with text, no errors or anything. index
Kind of looks like you have no css for some reason. If you can get to the adminCP, did you try rebuilding styles (under Maintenance -> Update Counters)?
Edit: seems to look alright under the "test" style, but maybe you just created that one.

That worked but the problem now is - unregistered users can see it normally - however when i'm logged in (super admin etc) there is no index/main page? Any idea on that one?!
You mean a completely blank white page? That means there was some kind of error when generating the page. Somewhere there's a page that deals with debugging blank pages but I don't remember where it is offhand. You could try creating a new style with no parent and see if that makes a difference. Also try temporarily disabling all plugins by putting
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
in your config.php.
Edit: Here's the thing about blank pages: https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/blank_pages

Disable hooks hasn't worked on the blank page :(

There are about 17 to go through on that page Kevin linked you to regarding blank pages - disabling hooks is just the first one.

We've gone through this and it hasn't worked, the source for the blank page is nothing, no scripts at all. its like its not even pulling the data?
Ross
Hmm...if I were stumped I think I might start putting in some echo() messages to try to see how far it's getting before dying.

If, as you say in the first post, there are no plugins, it's a fresh install, etc., then I'd put in a ticket.

He says its a server issue rather than a vBulletin issue
