How To Display Avatars

Hi... I have vb 4.0 installed and its not showing the avatars for the users.. I mean it shows when you view the profile, but it doesnt show in the forum posts.. Which possible settings can help me fix this? I'll try to figure it out on my own, but if some1 can help me real quick, I would appreciate it. Thank You.

As far as I can see, if you have Avatars enabled then you should see them in the posts unless you uncheck the "Show Avatars" box under General Settings in your "Settings".

the crazy thing is... I dont see it under general settings... what is the exact path???

Yeah, sorry. For future reference, I meant General Settings in each user's control panel.
