Username Vb.org password vb.orgtester

so you guys can see what i mean. Images would show up and work just fine, not quite sure what happened, now only getting urls to show.

what i've done and checked:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Message Posting and Editing Options -> Allow Dynamic URL for [IMG] Tags -> Yes (i dont see an option for allow dynamic url, were on 4.1.5 PL 1)

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Thread Display Options -> Number of Characters Before Wrapping Text-(set to 0 to disable)

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Edit Forum -> Allow [IMG] Code -> Yes (i've checked all forums, all set to yes)

I've disabled all plugins so its not a plug-in either.

anyone have any ideas? i will try anything, forum looks terrible since this has happened. Thank you in advance for reading.
*update* i dont have vbseo installed so not an error with that

I don't understand this:

Since that isn't even a setting, how can you verify it is set to Yes?

When did this suddenly happen? You must have done something in order for it to suddenly start being that way.

Yeah i read those options in another thread so i went to see if it was that. but the things i could locate didnt fix it. I was noticed today. Not 100% sure of when it started. Newest things added to the site

New templates
and modified htaccess. on root of forum, followed a thread on here.

i've went threw the first 40 pages on vb4 discussion looking for someone who has had a similar problem. With no luck. Thinking about restoring database completely to one of last week, i assume it should fix all, but i will lost threads/post/members in the last week. Dont really want to but forums look horrible with links in threads where pictures use to be.

If all you did prior to having the problem was add new templates (do you mean a new style?) and a different .htaccess, then try temporarily removing the .htaccess and see if that fixes it or try creating a new style with no parent:

Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
Parent Style: No Parent Style
Title: Default vBulletin
Allow User Selection: Yes
Save

See if that fixes the issue.

Its because you have your smiley code set to whatever is in the URL.

Do you perfix and postfix your smiles with : to prevent the issue?

:smiley :

Again Lynne thanks for your quick responses, as usual. And BSmedia thank you very much as well. :-/ it was a smile like that, for some reason it interfered with all the images, and made them just show url, as soon as i removed the smile all went back to normal. Thanks again to the both of you for helping me reach the right point.
