Content Columns issue

I created a new grid for one of my CMS pages. It's a simple 1 column page, with n sidebar oor widgets. In the editor for that page, I set the "content columns" to 1 column, to work with the new grid I implemented for that page. When I save the edited page, it reverts to the 1x2 columns choice. In fact, if I chose any other content column option, it reverts to the 1x2 upon saving. Am I overlooking something?

After you set it for the Section, go to admincp > vbulletin cms > clear cms cache. Now see if it's working properly.
