I am trying to remove 2 banner ads. I can not find the template which they are located in.
I have searched through all of them with no luck. I have added the "sponsored links" via postbit template after first the post on each page with the same banners, but I want the 2 banners below it removed.
If not within the templates where can the codes be located? or if they have to be in a template which one?
These are OpenAd banners on Vb 3.6.7
Any help would be appreciated this is driving me nuts that I can't find where the code was placed.

Did you add them using the Advertising tab (not sure which version you are using)?

Try this to find the template they are in - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. (Sometimes the template is the one mentioned at the very top of the page source.)

Or, to see if it's a modification, then try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have those banners.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Someone else added these years ago. Turns out they were coded into the showthead.php file.
There were no plugins installed on this forum, and we looked through every template trying to find where it was placed.
I think we have it sorted out now thanks for the help.
