This is a Magazine style grid for your front-page layout. Magazine grids are popular in Blogging and CMS circles these days. They feature a large widget area at the top of the screen and smaller widget areas under that. This includes a left sidebar for navigation, the large widget area at the top right and three widget areas under that at 33% each. The layout also has a secondary footer area.
To install:
1) Go to vBulletin CMS -> Grid Manager.
2) Click Download / Upload Grids.
3) In the Upload Grid form import the attached XML file.

It should be possible. I haven't looked into it. Instead, I fix the width using the doc_width stylevar and then let the grid full out the space provided.

Did you add widgets to the left sidebar?
Did you add widgets to the left sidebar?
Is there a particular widget I should be adding to the left to get categories to show up?

One of the category widgets. Each layout has to have widgets assigned to it. They don't inherit from each other. If you're using a category widget in another layout, you should use the same one.

Hi Wayne, love this grid - we're using it on our upgraded site's homepage. One quick question...when I add a widget to any of the 3 vertical sections (just above the footer space) it puts the module right up against the one above it (with no space at all between them).
How can I insert a spacer there?
