User permissions issue - PLEASE READ

Whe nI login ot the admin panel and go to Quick User Links and click edit forum permissions acess masks I check the appropriate boxex I would like particular members to view however it doesnt give them the permissions to do so...... anybody else with this issue?

You mean the ability to view/post in forums? The more info you provide the faster it will be resolved. Also post some screenshots too.

You said Access Masks.... do you have those on in AdminCP > Settings > Options > general settings > enable access masks?
