Hello there ,

I was talking to my friend over msn chat and he said me a crazy thing about vbulletin and i couldn't stop myself taking a look at it ..

i logged into his website ACP and as soon as i logged in ACP it started reloading again and again non-stop ..i couldn't believed him untill i saw it my self .. so i am wondering why is it happening is it a bug in vbulletin or its a broswser issue .. i tried with multiple browsers i.e firefox,chrome,safari and as soon as i login to acp the acp page starts reloading/refreshing automatically again ..the only thing i could do at that moment is stop the browser for reloading and then when i click like usergroups or anything on the left panel it again starts reloading/refreshing automatically .. lol .. that is real funny to me lol ..

So i was wondering why is it happening like that .. is there a problem in my computer and my friends computer or is it a problem of browser or is it a bug in vbulletin software ..

Is anyone else facing same issue or is it only me .. :S

Thanks for reading .

EDIT : I thought i edit this post and add lil bit more .. This might be a issue with javascript or something .. now when i am trying with firefox its fine but in google chrome browser it is reloading/refreshing as stated above .. javascript is enabled on both browsers ..

The couple of times I have seen this happen, it has been because of something the host installed. So, check with the host about the issue.

I asked host they took couple days to answer me and said there is nothing on your server installed and they said its a coding issue ask your code developer ..

Still cant figure out why it is happening .. even google gave up on me ..

Unless you have modified the code, then it is not a coding issue with vbulletin. Honestly, I have seen this twice, and both times is was due to some software the host had installed.

Have you tried disabling your plugins completely to see if you still have the same issue? Do you have ticket support? If so, then I'd suggest putting in a ticket.

Add to includes/config.php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Doesn't matter as long as it is inside the <?php ?> tags and not in the comment blocks.
