Ok, so I have received emails from users that are trying to confirm their accounts with my forum, but they dont receive a confirmation email and if they do, it takes a longgggggggg time... I opened an account with my forum, it been 20 minutes and still nothing.. How can I fix this?:confused:
There doesn't seem to be anything in vbulletin that would queue up or delay activation emails. When you finally do get the email, if look at the full headers you might be able to see the path it took to get to you and the time it went through each server on the way.

Hmm, well what I decided to do was to simply eliminate the need for email verification :)
Thanks though

Assuming these emails aren't just getting lost - e.g. sent to people's spam folders - then you need to start worrying about why it takes so long to send them out. As the forum gets busier it will start sending more and more emails and if it's not working right things won't get any better.
If you're on a shared server the first thing you need to look at is server loads.
