hi all..

firstly its very good to be here..

i am on the way of buying vB.. but there is a problem..

i have YaBB before with 140 members and lots of msgs

what to do? i search the board for that.. but no luck.. there isnt any converter file or idea...

need help

one thing left for me to buy vB...

i need convertor from yabb to vB ...

it is said that its out when peoples want it..

i know there are few but we need that.. so we can upgrade our system to vB...

please msg me if already one exists.. or if anyone working on that..

Are you looking for one to convert just members or for posts and threads as well?

Guess what! I need one too, and if you run a search on vBulletin.com for 'YaBB' you'll see there's dozens more just like us!

On vBulletin.com, a guy called Sean353 claims to have invented a converter for VBB Light, so it would be technically possible to convert across YaBB---> VBB Light ----> VBB 2.1. However, he dissappeared after posting it, no one on the site is willing to contact him and he's not replying to my emails. Ironic, considering he's trying to scrape up the cash to convert, I would have been willing to make a sizeable donation if he could prove he had a workable converter...

i have member converter for yabb to phpbb .. this means u can convert from yabb -> phpbb2 -> vB ...

main point is post converter..

i think i have post converter on these days ..

Are you serious? So it's possible to concvert memberlists alone? What about the posts themselves via phpBB2?

u can import all the user stuff...

but postcounts couldnt be important :) strange..

anyway i find another resource on that... :

i mean another FULL converter.. try to get it from its author..

Brilliant, it would be great to get the posts and users across and be one of the first to do it. There's no YaBB-->VBB in converter in existence despite what the guys at vbulletin.com will tell you ;)

i asked that millions time to billions of people but both vB stuff and others dont answer... or post anything on that..

so i have to go with my own way...
