Hello there,
here's a question:
Is it possible to replace a forum/section title with an image?
example:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/07/20.png
Could any one guide me into the direction where to edit them?
Regards
I think you want to edit the forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost and forumhome_forumbit_level2_nopost templates. Somewhere near the top of each you'll find a {vb:raw forum.title} whcih inserts the title, so you'd have to insert an image tag there. If you arrange things so that the images are named by forumid, then you can probably do it all in the template by using {vb:raw forum.forumid} as part of the file name. Otherwise you'd have to use a plugin to set a variable with the file name.

Actually that would be for VB4- this is a VB3 thread- assuming the OP posted in the right place he'd want to look for $forum[title] not {vb:raw forum.title} in VB 3.x.
Just different syntax in VB 3.x, but the rest of the instructions remain the same.

Got it so far, thanks guys.
But i don't get the forum ID part and how to set up different images for every forum.
Could you point me in the direction how this piece of code would look like?
And yes, its vB 3.8
