Feeling 'gamed' with too many outgoing links to rival forum

My stats show a worrying amount of external links and exits from my site to a rival forum. I feel over time the other forum has 'seeded' my forum with their links.

Is there a black hat way I can turn the tables? I was thinking of slowing down the exit of their links with a script.. Like a "miserable user" mod effect .

Ideas?

couldn't you just blacklist the links so they weren't able to be posted or whatnot?

If I do that I then become the 'bad guy'

I am trying to close the stable door after the horse has left..

Tricky one,

On one hand they have been underhanded with gradually piling up a lot of links on my forum, on the other I have been asleep at the wheel and let it happen..

I plan to investigate and see if there are 5 or so registrations doing it..
