I can't seem to keep the bots from registering on my forum. I have it set up to answer a question.

1. Make sure the question doesn't have a simple answer such as "What's 1+1", and make sure you have multiple questions so they would "rotate" on the registration form (I would suggest having no less than 5). For example, I use "Who was the 1st president of the United States", as one of my questions.

Now a days it seems that you need to deploy several methods to try and eliminate some spam/bots/etc. I would agree with HMBeaty that you need to make sure the questions do not have simple answers. You may want to consider adding questions about your site and your site's content/theme.

You may want to consider using this mod as well https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=261492 - it is one that I have released and people seem to be seeing good results with it. :)
