Block Guests from Viewing [IMG] like attachments

I like how guests can't view attachments in a thread, and it shows them a link which prompts them to sign up, but I use third party image hosts and [img] tags. Is there anyway to have the same thing happen with [img] tags. i.e Someone adds photos using [img] tags and when a guests looks at the page it says "Only Registered Members can view images, register here". Or something like that?

There is this mod: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=256054&highlight=hide+images which I've never tried but it sounds like it does what you want.
