Hello guys, I have a small problem that after I downgraded from vb4.1.4 to 4.1.3 the advance edit function is not working anymore. Is there anything I can do to try fixing it?
thanks

There is no such thing as "downgrading" from 4.1.4 to 4.1.3. What exactly did you do?

well I was on 4.1.3 Patch Level 1 and upgrade to 4.1.4 but the new posting options didnt like and restore my old vB version since I did a back up right before upgrading to 4.1.4.
Now I am at 4.1.3 Patch Level 1. but since I did that the Advance Edit button on the post is not working

How did you restore?
- Removed the newer 4.1.4 files and replaced with the complete filesystem backup for the forum
- Restored the database using your backup i.e. you dumped the current tables and re-imported the backup into the same database?
Basically if you left some of the 4.1.4 files or never overwrote them there could be files causing this, if you only overwrote files and did not import a backup then it's a conflict between what the database thinks the site is (4.1.4) and what the files are actually from 4.1.3.

You may want to run Maintenance > Diagnostics > suspect file versions to verify you have all the correct files uploaded

It could be any number of files. You should not have any default vbulletin files listed under Suspect File Versions.

Yeah I have checked and all seen to be ok, the Suspected files are from mods and not vB. i will have to upgrade to vb 4.1.4 and see if that helps even though I hate the new posting looks.
thanks

What exactly happens when you click on the advanced edit button?
Have you tried disabling your modifications/plugins and seeing if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
