Donation Manager

I am wondering if there is someway to automatically update a members profile to reflect that they have donated in our annual donation drive.

Can someone help me work this out? Thanks.

Where do you keep information about donations? In some mysql table or do you manage them manually?

We manage them manually as far as I know. People donate directly into our bank account.

Can they do this through the forum?

There are a few donation addons around here which manage this directly through the forum with thanks-pm and so on.

Maybe you could extend such a plugin to fit your needs
