View Full Version : Displaying "Latest posts" externally?

Hello!

Is it possible to display "latest posts" bar (or whatever it's called) in any way or form externally? I have a simple html written website that is completely separate from my vbulletin forum and would like to display latest posts on my index page. The more flexibility there is, the better. If I could control which posts (from which section or thread) to display externally would be ideal.

If this is impossible, is it something that vbulletin can look into and make it possible in the future?

Thanks in advance!

Hello?

Hi.

I'm not clear on exactly how you intend to use the latest post information. You say you have a simple html website, I'm assuming static pages? You'd have to have some kind of scripting (like php) to generate and/or format your latest posts.

But that said, there's the "external" data feed which can get you the info in RSS, XML, or JS formats. Or you could write a your own "vbulletin" page, as described in this article: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=228112
