Ok.. finally i bought vB4 and i have no experience what so ever.. so whats next?

how do i get the ultimate guide to start manage the forum?

maybe i start with few question here..

1. how to put the connect via facebook?

2. how to start manage the categories and sub categories?

3. how to get the active threads widgets to be place at my front page?

In addition to the links above, use the search system here and at vb.com as well. Almost all basic things have been covered a lot of times.

Also set up a test forum and test things out there until you familiarise yourslef with the vb.

It depends. To get familirised with its core set up from an admin point of view all it takes is a few days playing around the Acp.

To get familirised with its coding and styling structure might take a little longer. But you should have some knowledge in htmls, css, php, mysql etc. You should also have lots of time and patience, especially the latter :D
