So I just purchased VB and I am doing a "test install" and ALL of my images/icons are missing.
In IE, they are a RED "X" and in FF, they are just missing.
If I click on the "X" to get the properties, and go to the path, the image is there. So the path to the images seems correct; yet no images.
I have reinstalled this "test forum" 3 times and each time I get the same thing.
Please help the VB noob.
first do make sure images r in the right directory. Usually when that happens to me i do a right click on the red X (image) n go for copy image URL and open it new browser to see if the image is even there or not. try that hope that helps.

When I do that, the image does show up, which is why I am puzzled.
I have tried on 3 different computers with a few different versions of IE and FF....
Going to try Chrome too

Chrome is the same thing...images do not show up but if I copy the image URL into a new browser tab, it works fine.
Maybe time to open a support case

Inside you images folder, do you see the misc, buttons, ranks, icons and other folders? If you have these folders, what is your permission settings for them?
