Help with styling needed please

I have posted this in the general discussion forum but wondered if it was better in here, so here goes!

I have been adapting a style to my liking for my forums & with the help from some of you guys have nearly finished. I have used firebug to find some of the stylevars to change most things, but I am stuck on this last thing & it is driving me mad!!

When I click on new post, the box opens & all looks ok. See below:-

But when I click in the title field, it goes transparent & I can't see what I am typing. See below:-

Has anyone got the answer?

Any help you guys can give would be much appreciated. This is the last thing I need to finish styling on my forums.
