Is there a way to group all of a member's threads together in a particular forum.

For example:

A member posts several threads in a specified forum dedicated to a particular subject.

When visiting that forum, is it possible to have all of 'Member A's' threads grouped together (like a sub-forum) and all of Member B's responses grouped together?

Like this:

FORUM where a member creates a new thread.

Member A
----first submitted Thread
----second submitted Thread,
----Third...

Member B
----First submitted Thread,

Member C
----first submitted Thread,
----second submitted Thread,

SO, when a member clicks on this forum, they see a list of sections titled with the username. And if they click that name, they see all of the threads that person created in that forum.

I hope I explained this where it can be understood. Thanks for your thoughts and response.

Regards!
Kether

Is this possible? Been searching around and haven't seen anything like it. It would be a really helpful mod for my site.

Thanks Lynne as always. :) I guess I asked an irrelevant question; Sorry about that.

Of course it is possible as you note. I was looking for a modification or some help in coding something like this.

My question should have been: Is there a modification or can someone offer help/ advice on how to edit the code to create a forum where members threads are put into sub-sections that are titled with the username of that member?

Thanks for any help or advice.

Kind regards,
Kether :)

You can sort the threads by username. So, knowing that, you could perhaps save the username of the last thread, compare it to the username of the next thread and if different then print a row out that just has the username. I haven't tried it, but that is how I would go about it.
