In preparing for a lengthy beta-test, I'd like to password protect the ENTIRE site. Looking to do this as easily as possible and a single password for all users should suffice. Just want to ensure that strangers meandering on the Internet cannot simply walk into the beta-site unannounced/uninvited until things have been fine tuned.

I've searched the forums, but haven't found anything easy/simple for vB4.

Appreciate the help!

Just use htaccess/htpasswd protection

Hi HM,
Proving a tad elusive for me (as a NooB). Where do I find "fullpath.php?" Then do I create "htpasswd" file or is this already embedded in vB4?

Sorry for being so new to all of this :(
