Adsense Not Showing Up

Hello all. On my forum, I have the advertising set to show a high amount of ads just to pay for the site. But, the header ad that the forum is supposed to put in there will not show up for some reason. I had to modify the nav template to ad the code directly for an ad.

I want to fix this issue cause I'm thinking about doing a "paid" membership, and one of the perks is to get rid of the ads. Well, I can't do that if it's in the code it's self. But I can do it through the AdminCP>Advertisement tab.

Someone help me out here. I'm sure this has to be a simple code error that I am just not finding. YOu can click on the link in my sig, and click on the forum tab to see the way I have it now. You do not have to make an account.

Check in your ad manager that the ad is enabled and configured properly for the correct location.

Then look in your template and confirm the ad location hooks are there

It is configured correctly in the ad manager, I will check on the hooks when I get to the house. What exactly am I looking for? Not too familiar with the term "hook".

From memory your looking for one that will be in curly brakes with adlocation in ny, should be around about were your putting your custom code
