More Members and Discussions from Advizo

Please remember to click Mark as Installed if you use this modification.

About this plugin:
This plugin will suggest your community to members of our website who ask questions that your members are qualified in answering. We will post questions from our members to the appropriate forum on your website. Your original members will discuss and answer them, and our members then become your members.

Want more members and more discussions?
By installing the Advizo plugin, your forum will be suggested to users that are interested in issues that your community cares about. This drives highly relevant traffic to your site while also providing great, targeted content. This content will in turn generate more traffic from organic search engine listings. This is the power of the Advizo network. Our plugin is a simple and convenient way to connect your site to the Advizo network.

Simplify access to your site while improving content quality
The Advizo network only sends highly qualified members to your site based on what they are looking for. Advizo is a closely monitored network, which ensures we drive only highly focused and targeted content to your site. The result is new members to your site that are already engaged with your community.

Seeing a drop in traffic from Google? Diversify your traffic now!
Lots of great bulletin boards and forums have seen a drop in traffic because of Google?s change in search ranking algorithm (called the Panda update). Now is the time to diversify your sources of traffic! Advizo helps people find communities that care about their interests and concerns. If you maintain a specialized discussion forum, Advizo will route new members and new discussions to your forum. Advizo will automatically glean from natural language analysis which categories and topics your forum specializes in. This also reduces the hoops that users have to jump through to find the right forum topic for them - it?s all done for them.

Hey Brandon,

Thanks for your interest. Our site is www.advizo.com. We are currently an invite only website as mentioned and that is why you cannot view the entire site. We are a growing community of forum sites and our major focus is to help users find the right community for any advice they are seeking. We analyze their question and see which of our partner sites is best equipped to handle their advice and we send it off to them, as they are the most capable community of answering our users question. This will also allow the user to discover communities that are related to their question.

If you are interested in our site feel free to fill out the invite request. If you currently have a forum site you'd like to add please add that to the invite request so we can check out your site and approve your request for an invitation. Also you are more than welcome to download and install the plugin, and once installed you will have full access to our site and we'll be able to begin referring our users to your site if it is applicable to their question. If you have any other questions feel free to let us know!

Thanks,

Checking it out now, just sent the invite with a link to my forum.

/me clicked install

ps.. does this add a link from our forums to your site at all?
pps... when do we find out if we've been approved or not?

I don't want to run the plugin if it's not going to benefit my site.

thanks

It does not add a link from your forums to our site. If you've installed the plugin you are pre-approved so you should have access to the site. Once you register with us, we then will index your site to better understand which types of questions to send your way. You can also check your site statistics on our site. I've also sent you a PM, so if you have any questions that are specific to your install please do not hesitate to let me know.

I requested an invitation. Then completed my registration. Then submitted a question to advizo. Then installed the plugin but when I go from my AdminCp to get the unique site key and the ID key it reads "Plugin Not Found"

????

Please advise.

Thanks!!

BTW: I did download and install the vBulletin 4 plugin. I noticed this thread is in the vBulletin 3.7 section

I'm removing this mod
If the question site gets more activity I may install it again.
Right now it's not doing anything for our forum

Thanks anyways, nice idea!

Uninstalled.

Not ONE member sent to my site! Which if I'm understanding this correctly is (or at least should be) the point of it.

I even asked a few questions on advizo.com a few weeks ago when I signed up. I checked today and it reads that I have not asked any questions!

We have made several changes to the VB4 plugin as a result of feedback from our users and would like to suggest that if you were thinking about installing that plugin, please do so now. The updates in this version include the following:

1) Better category/forum suggestion - we understand your forum hierarchy better
2) Better handling of registration and authentication process - accommodates for potential conflicts of registration hooks or other items better.
4) Better ability for us to help debug any issues
3) Minor bug fixes

We look forward to sending more users with this new version 0.2.6.

In addition, we are getting a lot more questions and users so there you will likely get more users in turn.
