How to get rid of someones name completely after deleting?

I deleted a user but he wants to remain anonymous after I deleted him, yet the name still remains above. How can I rename the name above "Guest"?

In the future, change the name prior to deleting the user. At this point, your only option is to do an actually database query, I believe.

Yeah, a mistake was made. Can someone tell me who you go about doing a database query to fix this?
