From your opening thread you have probably uploaded files to the wrong place.

It would help if we knew what board you are running, which style you are trying to install and any screenshots and of course links to your site would help to assist you further.

Yes sounds like you are upload the image into the wrong directory.

After you install the new skin> You can go to AdminCP> Settings> Options> Style & language Settings> Default Style and select your new skin. This will make the new skin the default for users.
