I'm currently working on a mod that is for vBulletin 3.8.6 and 4.x.x and I need some help with tracking code changes using SVN, specifically TortoiseSVN. I've got TortoiseSVN installed but I think I have my repository set up wrong. Should I have my forum root set has my project work folder? I have this for both versions. I want to be able to do branching since I'm tracking two (and more to come) versions later.

Thanks in advance

I'm having trouble determining how to organize my repository to deal with both vb3.8.x and vb4 versions of the mod I'm working on. Should I have 2 repositories, one for each version of vb or combine them into one trunk and take snapshots then tag those snapshots?

I have 2 site folders set up in my development environment. One for vb4 and one for vb3.8.6. Going with this format, I suppose it would make sense to have 2 repositories.

I'm still confused about how to import my files initially and ignore all originial vb files.

If there is something posted on this here, please point me to it because my searches are not showing anything.

Thanks in advance once again,
jim
