Valid members not listed in member list

We were informed today that a few of our active members were not showing up in the member list. They don't have any special access or restrictions from other members in the user groups they are assigned to.

Any reason why they have perfectly active accounts by are not showing up in the Member List?

Check the amount of posts required to appear in the list.
