need some graphics and a banner

Im looking for some forum icons for new and unread posts, the ones i have were brought over from my old phpbb forum and are blurry and dont really fit, same with the banner it doesnt really fit in.

if anyone would be so kind as to help me out, it would be greatly appreciated :)

Can it be any kind of fish cut out?
