so i looked in my mods and i have this

which its a brand new board so i havnt installed anything

i have had people do work - is this someone trying to be sneeky or is this a vb default mod?

Skimlinks was added to the vb suite in 4.1.3, IIRC. It is a legit product, although I do have mine disabled. Just another money-making scheme from your friends at IB. ;)

That is something that is installed by default from vBulletin.
