Version 1.1: Bug Fixes
Version 1.0: Initial Release

This is a simple to use random banner rotator for vBulletin 3.8, 3.7, and possibly earlier versions. I was using this on my own site and decided to release it. Although there are a number of banner rotators on vBulletin.org I never found one that works as I wanted.

This does not have complex settings nor a way to upload your banners, that is up to you. What this mod does is let you paste in any number of banner HTML codes and will randomly display them. If you choose it will automatically display it in your "ad_header_logo" template or you can manually add it to any other ad template you prefer.

You can paste in any HTML code snippets you want, basic IMG tags, IFRAMES, or even Flash Embedding is possible.

The mod has options to disable the banner display per style and per usergroup.

I am not interested in making this a complex mod to count clicks or manage your banners, there are other mods out there to do that..

Please Mark as Installed if you use this. :)

This WILL NOT work on vBulletin 4.x.

Thanks... Please press "Mark as Installed" on the side in the top post. This will keep you informed of any updates or in the unlikely event there was ever a security flaw with the mod you will be notified. It's good to do for all mods you may install.

Hello, I just installed this mod, and it doesn't seem to be working for me at all. It installed properly and product is enabled. I used a few HTML codes that I have, even the example one provided, but I still have no luck. Am I missing something?

Do you have a custom style? It's possoble the ad location template isn't used in your style. Try manually placing $rb5_banner in some other ad location templates just to see if you get anything.

Hey all, I've found a bug- if you use single quotes (') in the code it doesn't output correctly.

The work-around for now is don't use single quotes, only use double quotes in HTML code snippets you enter.

Will post an update/fix when I get a chance.
