Can't Download Attchments Before Hitting Thanks

First Let me point out this is not my ORIGINAL work

This is a fix / upgrade of Abe1 (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=49809) Cant Download attachments (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=104845)


I been reading people wanting an updated version

This works well in vB 3.8, i have also added usergroup permissions

Staff (Moderators etc) it already dont apply to.

To edit user groups you DONT want this to apply to

Edit attached product and search for

is_member_of($vbulletin->userinfo,

after the , add usergroups you want to disable this from. Mine looks like this


is_member_of($vbulletin->userinfo, 9,10,13


Also if you want to disable for images edit out these lines in same product


eval('$this->post[\'imageattachmentlinks\'] = construct_phrase("$vbphrase[cant_see_attachements_before_thanksing_a_post]");');
eval('$this->post[\'thumbnailattachments\'] = construct_phrase("$vbphrase[cant_see_attachements_before_thanksing_a_post]");');
eval('$this->post[\'imageattachments\'] = construct_phrase("$vbphrase[cant_see_attachements_before_thanksing_a_post]");');

Several errors caused by:

- error on database
Error occurs in PM. After you install this modification becomes impossible to open any PM. Message: Database error occurs.

- to the pressure button thanks, nothing happens, only after restart open same page you can see the attachment, which is duplication of work, it's not a good site, it must be immediately visible files

These are great disadvantages, I had to do unistal

I see error with PM, will fix asap

But i never claimed it was ajax... so all you need to do is press f5... like Abe1 original :erm:

Thank you very much. The error was corrected and now works very well. With the key "F5" function but it would be good, and nicer if it was automatic.

can we change it from "before hitting thanks" to "before tweeting" or liking the thread?
