Hello,

Would love to hear some opinions on the Archive in vBulletin, in my mind I don't think it's really very useful now. I'm publishing a sitemap on a weekly basis and everything I have is pushed to Facebook and Twitter, is there really a need for a "search engine friendly" view of your forum a la the Archive?

Yes, I love it and use it! Would actually like it extended for CMS, Blogs etc. There is no faster way to browse the site.

Does it do any harm on your site?

Hmmm I never realised anyone else used besides crawlers.

No it's not doing any harm but I really like to cut off the fat, so anything that's there that's not being used I like to get rid of.

Anyone else?

Have you left it switched on or have you disabled it on your own sites? Do you see any benefit to leaving it switched on?

Its still switched on as its very low overhead, and has adsense on it.

Ah. I'll maybe keep it alive then. :)
