I need a modification which automatically convert links to anchors

It's done in vbseo but I'm pretty sure there is a mod here at the org that will do it too, but I think it was 3.8 only.

yes this is the required mod which is in vbseo
but I do not have vbseo
and for HMBeaty's
I mod you give is for VB3 but I can not install it on VB4

I try to install it on VB4 but I get this message:
The following dependencies were not met:

This product is not compatible with version 4.1.3 of vBulletin. (Compatible starting with 3.6.0 / Incompatible with 4.0.0 alpha 1 and greater)

Edit the xml file and change
<dependency dependencytype="vbulletin" minversion="3.6.0" maxversion="4.0.0 alpha 1" />
To
<dependency dependencytype="vbulletin" minversion="3.6.0" />
