Sorry All... I am unsure if there was permission to post a Groan Hack from the original Author (Abe1), for the mod that I used the "re-usable" code from. Until I have a decision from Paul M or somehow gain permission from Abe1 I guess I'll need to remove this mod from publication...

Is this using the original authors code ? If so, do you have their permission to release this ?

The original code I used was marked as "re-usable" by the author, I cleaned up the hack and significantly updated it to allow integration and changes to how it appears and where it goes.
I got excited when I finally got it to work as expected and published... I have written the Groans Hack author to see if I can have permission to publish. (sheepish look)...
I am sorry, Paul, you are right and I should have asked for permission before rather than after, and this one should be removed until (and if) I do have permission.
Thanks for keeping me honest, and it wasn't due to any evil intent that I have done this...

i found small bug when i using your mod: when somebody click on groan button with some one, their total post will increase 1.
this is a big problem when counting user post. pls fix it, thank you

That is a setting in the AdminCP, you simply need to select "no" on the option to increase a user's post count when clicking Groan.

I'd rather be sure that I'm okay publishing this mod than continue to leave it hanging. I'm sorry all, but we'll have to wait...

Re-Use: This code may be used in other modifications as long as the original author is credited.
Abe1 read this, and checked the box when he created the mod...I fail to see where the issue is with reposting a mod with his code...him checking that box was his permission to do so according to the description listed above...

Actually the Mod I got the code from was posted by another user and that is where the question comes in, was there permission?
I understand what they are doing. What I'll do is hit it with a different approach and rewrite the stuff so that this will not be an issue. The question I have sent to Paul M was whether or not I could use the tables that are already set by Abe1's mods or if I would be forced to translate those tables into new tables...
Hopefully I'll get an answer.

Thanks. I'll be re-releasing as soon as I have time to write some code. Hopefully I can solve the search at the same time. I don't want to predict a time, because testing always reveals at least one problem that I didn't foresee.
