Can I set a number of posts RSS showing!

I have read the tutorial about get latest posts from Vbullentin via RSS but how I can set the limit of number post show ?

My RSS link is http://domain.com/external.php?type=rss

You set that in AdminCP > Settings > Options > external data provider > max external records (you may have to also adjust thread cutoff).
