Okay, For a long time now I've wanted to monetise my board in different, yet fun ways. I run a fanbase for a Michael Jackson themed community, with a memberbase of over 7 thousand now.

The board could do with a bit more fun, and browsing around - I've noticed there's a few mods out there that allow you to share and create 'gifts'.

Does anyone have experience with this, and if so - What mods would you reccomend? In a perfect world, I'd like for it to be, so members can physically buy, and pay with real money to buy gifts, that would then be listed on their profile. They can share, or give their own bought gifts to others and the gifts in question could have a value of rarity, therefore - them being more popular and fun.

I've also been looking at point hacks where 'gifts' seem to be involved. This could also be good in terms of bulking up the community with more activity. But I think for now, initially - The ability for members to buy 'gifts', effectively donating to the board's cause - would be a great idea and a great starting point for me.

Any reccomendations? :D

Thanks,

Greg

Any ideas guys? I think I must be unpopular around here. None of my recent threads have yielded an answer.

Thanks! :D

Most people don't reply when they don't know the answer. I'm only writing this so you understand we're reading it, just not replying.

More to the point: I've never heard of this sort of 'gift' system. I suppose you can do it with almost any shopping cart software. And an accountant to keep track of things for tax purposes.
