Limiting a single user

I asked over at vb.com and they sent me here thinking there might be something here.

I am wondering is there is a way to limit the viewing of a few individual threads form a single user. I have 5 users who are uncomfortable with a certain user seeing on going threads they have for a reason I don't want to take the time to go into.

Is it possible to limit his view from just a few thread.

I don't know of a way.
Maybe you could create a private forum for them and just give them access to that forum. Kind of go about it the other way. Instead of limiting the "one" person, create something for the 5??

something i thought about problem being they want the feedback from the other people on the site, coaches they are paying a membership for to see their sites, but I guess I could make that forum and just limit him from seeing those peoples section.
