is there an add on that allows site links to convert to thread links instead i am using 4.1.2 vb thanks in advance

here is an example this is at another site that has this

wont let me do link so i will attach pic there are url inbetween this disregard the code blocks i inserted


and what this will do will display the name of thread on the link instead of the full link of the thread on site ....is there any such add on or perhaps template change i have to make thanks in advance

Sorry I don't understand the question. Maybe if you explained what exactly you are trying to accomplish?

this is what i am looking to do..... here is link this is from earlier version of vb

now i seen this on other sites that i go to where they input a link on there site in the post and instead of giving the location like the link i gave you above it will put in thread name automatically ....there has to be a addon or maybe template change perhaps that i could do to get this to work

i am in vb 4.1.2 and havent seen any addons for this perhaps i am missing something ...

You mean if a user typed http://www.tibetanmastiff.com/main_files/img11.jpg you want that to be instantly translated to "Dog" in their message? Sounds like magic.

Sorry, but placing URLs inline still requires the two step process of typing "Dog", highlighting it, and pressing the "insert link" key.

BTW, I use Ditto (http://ditto-cp.sourceforge.net/) and it often intelligently copies URLs, leaving a good inline.

Thankyou very much i knew it just wasnt my imagination or magic lol ....that did the trick much better for my site links thanks again
