Not requests but more of "wondering if this can be done" concerning sigs

ok, here it goes...

Lets say I want images in sigs on my board, but I don't want the posters to be allowed to go overboard and put tons of images in their sig so I put a limit on it.
Now would it be possible to put a limit on how many IMG tags can be used per sig while still having unlimited smileys per sig and also having unlimited smileys and images per post?
Basicaly Im wondering if I can have unlimited smileys and images, with the exception of 1 image per sig. Make sense?

Also, would it be possible to have someones signature be displayed only once per page in a thread? So if someone has 4 posts in a thread, the signature would only be under the first reply and not under the other three?

would be a nice hack.... my problem is i am the one who uses smilies in my sig more than any other of my members hehe ...

I think the idea of only showing signatures on the first post by someone in a topic is a great idea.
