The first time anyone comes along and does a save for your style, your custom CSS will be wiped/replaced. You are not supposed to edit it through the files, you are supposed to edit it through the .css templates.

You avoid it by not editing the css files directly.

Thank you very much,

So, besides vBulletin CSS editor, is another way to edit the CSS on my style?

You need to edit the css via the CSS Templates and the Stylevars.

CSS in 3.8 is done via the Main CSS page.
