Remember Me CheckBox Checked But Not Showing

i want to get rid of the remember me checkbox in the navbar but still have it act as if it is checked, how would i do that?

all i could find searching here and on google was how to have it checked, but not how to have the login act as if it was checked but not show the checkbox at all.

Not a wise idea for that that are on a public computer. It might end up causing you more problems than it is worth.

hmmm... i didn't consider public computer users. you might be right.

the problem is i have to take it out, and it being out and people having to log in every time they get online might be problematic for some users too.

Yes, but if you leave it checked and the are on a public computer, the next person who uses that computer will already have to cookie set to login to your site, if the cookie has not timed out. You will eventually piss off the last user that was on when the next user logs into their account and wreaks havoc. That is why it is best to have it showing so they can uncheck it before logging in.
